A 70-year-old man was hit and killed by a car while crossing a Queens Street on Sunday morning, police said.

The man was crossing Northern Boulevard near 109th Street in East Elmhurst when he was struck by the Toyota Highlander at about 5:30 a.m., cops said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, authorities said.

The Toyota driver remained on scene and has not been charged with a crime, police said.

The victim’s name was withheld by police pending family notification.

Residents of the neighborhood told The Post on Sunday that the stretch of Northern Boulevard is especially dangerous for pedestrians.

“It’s dangerous, especially for kids,” Rosalyn Perez, 30, said. “I’m a mother and I’m worried. The drivers are not keeping a low speed.”

Marcus Morales, 32, who works two blocks away on Northern Boulevard said he also notices drivers speeding past the intersection.

“You see the cars at high speed, even though they have the cameras here,” Morales said.
