A 72-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a mini-van in Queens early Friday, police said.
The fatal accident happened around 4:45 a.m. at the intersection of Horace Harding Expressway and Main Street in Kew Gardens Hills, where the elderly man crossed the expressway against the light and was hit by a 2008 Toyota Sienna, according to the NYPD.
EMS rushed the man to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, but he could not be saved, cops said.
The driver of the mini-van stayed at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and the NYPD investigation was ongoing Friday afternoon.
