A 76-year-old man hanged himself in his room at a Bronx hospital, police said.

The man was discovered hanging with a belt around his neck in the bathroom of his room at Montefiore Medical Center just before 4 a.m. Tuesday.

He was pronounced dead by hospital staff, police said.
