An 88-year-old man was killed as he was trying to cross a Brooklyn street, authorities said.
Police found Feliks Dadiomov lying in the middle of the roadway when they arrived on scene near the corner of Ocean Parkway and Avenue X in Gravesend around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Investigators believe the octogenarian tried to cross Ocean Parkway against the pedestrian signal when a Honda Civic driven by a 28-year-old man plowed into him, officials said.
The driver remained at the scene and has not been charged with a crime.
Dadiomov was rushed to Coney Island Hospital with severe head and body trauma. He was later pronounced dead.
