An elderly woman was robbed and sexually assaulted earlier early this morning on an Upper East Side street, cops said.

The 85-year-old victim was attacked around 5:30 a.m. as she walked near East 83rd Street and Madison Avenue.

The assailant, described as a tattooed man in his 20s standing 5-foot-9 and wearing a white tank top, pushed the woman in a doorway, stole her jewelry and assaulted her, cops said. He then fled the scene and remains on the loose.

The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are reviewing surveillance footage from a nearby building that shows the assault, cops said.
