An elderly woman was struck and killed by an MTA bus in the Bronx Friday evening, police said.
According to authorities, Gloria Mabry, 74, was walking along Co-Op City Boulevard and the Dreiser Loop at around 6:45 p.m. when a BX 38 bus hit her as it turned onto the Dreiser Loop.
Mabry was taken to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition, and was later pronounced dead, authorities said.
The bus driver remained on scene, according to cops, and the cause of the fatal accident is under investigation
