An elderly woman died after jumping in front of a Midtown train Monday morning, cops said.
The 76-year-old woman apparently leaped in front of the southbound B train around 10 a.m. inside the Seventh Avenue and 53rd Street station, according to cops and witnesses.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
B train service is suspended between Brighten Beach Avenue and 145th Street in both directions, an MTA spokesperson said.
Southbound D trains are running on the C line from 59th Street-Columbus Circle to West 4th Street-Washington Square, the MTA said.
