An 81-year-old woman is clinging to life after she was struck by an unlicensed driver Sunday night in Staten Island, cops said.
The victim was crossing at the intersection of Targee Street and Narrows Road South about 9:30 p.m. when the 36-year-old driver hit her as she was inside of the crosswalk.
The unconscious woman was taken to Staten Island University North Hospital in critical condition. The driver was slapped with a summons for operating a vehicle without a license.
