An elderly woman was killed after being struck by a car in the South Bronx, cops said.

The woman, 79 was struck at the intersection of East 135th Street and Cypress Avenue about 12:40 p.m. today, cops said.

She suffered severe head trauma and was transported to Lincoln Hospital where she later died.

The vehicle remained at the scene and no criminality was suspected, cops said.
