An elderly woman was slapped in the face in Midtown in an unprovoked attack, police said Tuesday as they released video of the disturbing assault.

The video shows the 70-year-old woman at the intersection of Second Avenue and East 41st Street around 9:45 a.m. on July 22 — and a brute come up alongside her and slap her in the face.

The victim was treated by EMS at the scene.

The NYPD released a video of the attack asking for the public’s help in identifying the man.
