‘$elect’ive bitterness
Upper East Siders have finally warmed up to speedy Select Bus Service — but don’t like the MTA’s strict enforcement of its fare-collection rules, a survey has found.
Eighty-one percent of respondents said they used the service, in which express buses zip through designated lanes to beat traffic, according to the poll by City Councilwoman Jessica Lappin.

SBS riders must show receipts printed from curbside vending machines.
