A Roy Lichtenstein painting worth $4 million was returned to its Manhattan owner yesterday — 42 years after it disappeared.

“Maybe I’ll frame it,’’ said Barbara Castelli, whose late husband, Leo, an Upper East Side gallery owner bought the work “Electric Cord’’ (pictured) in the 1960s for $750.

Castelli accepted the painting, missing since Leo sent it out for a cleaning in 1970, at a press conference with federal prosecutors who said it resurfaced in July before a sale in Bogota, Colombia.
