Electrocute horror
A Verizon worker was electrocuted by power lines yesterday in Brownsville, witnesses said.
Douglas Lalima, 37, was in an elevated bucket repairing wires when he was fatally charred at around 11:30 a.m.
“I jumped and grabbed the extinguisher and put the flames out,” said Desmond Tapper, 38. “I’ve never seen anything like that.”
