An employee for the luxury shopping Web site Gilt snatched pricey Prada, Gucci and Mulberry handbags from the company’s Brooklyn warehouse, authorities said.
The woman shipped $119,000 worth of bags from the Web site’s Brooklyn Navy Yard warehouse to her home during February and March, police said.
Other goods allegedly stolen by the worker included purses by Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent.
Gilt reported the handbag heist to authorities on Aug. 19.
Cops would not name the suspect and said no arrests have been made.
