A high-ranking FDNY Emergency Medical Service chief who recently failed a random drug test and another chief with spotty timekeeping records have abruptly put in retirement papers, The Post has learned.
EMS Bureau of Training Chief Mitchell Berkowitz and Division Chief Mark Stone both recently asked to retire, the FDNY confirmed.
Both men left their jobs “in lieu of termination,” sources told The Post.
