A 3-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital in cardiac arrest when she stopped breathing at her family’s Bronx home early Monday — and cops were investigating it as a possible sexual assault, sources said.

The child’s mother called 911 when she realized her daughter was vomiting and having difficulty breathing at their home on 137th Street in Mott Haven around 4:30 a.m., according to police sources.

The little girl stopped breathing at one point but was revived by EMTs on the way to Lincoln Hospital, officials said.

Sources said that cops were investigating whether the girl had been sexually assaulted before she stopped breathing.

She was listed in stable condition.
