A former Obama administration appointee who was among a group of lawyers accused of defending “enemy combatants” has been hired by the US Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, officials confirmed yesterday.

Tali Farhadian, 35, worked for Attorney General Eric Holder until last June. She was earlier with a law firm that represented Human Rights Watch and Human Rights First.
