The family of Erica Garner said they’re hoping that she will be able to recover — despite the devastating heart attack she suffered last week.

“There’s still hope she’ll come out of this,” said Jonathan Moore, the Garner family lawyer.

“The doctors say it’s too early to take any life-ending measures and that she’s breathing on her own.”

The update came one day after Garner’s colleague posted on her Twitter account that she had suffered “major brain damage” after going into cardiac arrest last weekend.

Moore added that medical staff at Woodhull Hospital in Queens was still treating Garner.

“They don’t know yet the extent of the damage, but (the doctors) are not recommending to pull the plug,” he said.

Garner became an activist against police brutality after her father, Eric Garner, died at the hands of a Staten Island cop in 2014.
