WASHINGTON — The House ethics committee says it is starting “a full and complete investigation” into whether anyone covered up sexual harassment allegations against former Rep. Eric Massa.
The New York Democrat resigned last months after allegations surfaced that he sexually harassed male members of his staff.
The committee cannot investigate former members. Rather, the panel will look into what others knew about Massa’s conduct, and what what they did with any information they received.
