Two former ball boys who accused a terminated assistant Syracuse University hoops coach of child abuse have teamed up with attorney Gloria Allred to go after his boss, filing a lawsuit accusing head coach Jim Boeheim of defamation.

The suit against Boeheim and the university was unveiled during a news conference at a Midtown hotel yesterday by lawyer and scandal specialist Allred on behalf of stepbrothers Bobby Davis, 39, and Mike Lang, 45.

The pair claim that Boeheim’s assistant, Bernie Fine, molested them repeatedly in the 1980s and 1990s.

Boeheim, Allred said, immediately branded them liars.

“One of Syracuse’s most respected individuals had told the world repeatedly that Bobby Davis and Mike Lang were nothing but liars and out for money and nothing else,” Allred fumed.

The coach later apologized for the comments.

The suit seeks unspecified monetary damages.

A Syracuse spokesman declined to comment.
