The kindhearted Long Island mom of Britney Spears’ ex-fiancé, Jason Trawick, admitted yesterday that she “liked Britney. I liked her very much.”

Susan Trawick also said that Spears and her son made a great couple.

Spears, 31, and Trawick, 41, broke off their engagement on Friday, only hours after she quit her $15 million TV gig on “X Factor.”

Speaking from the family’s Long Island home, Trawick’s mom, Susan, 66, said she believed her son was still in Los Angeles, where he was removed as Spears’ co-conservator at a court hearing.

Adding to Spears’ upsets, her teacup Yorkie, Hannah, is very ill, Radaronline.com reported yesterday.

The pup was hospitalized with breathing trouble, appetite loss and other symptoms, the Web site reported.

“Her condition remains unstable, and if it were not for Britney’s money, Hannah would be dead by now,” a source said.
