The heroin dealer who became the poster child of a Brooklyn judge’s policy of not tossing recently released cons back into jail for smoking pot has been busted again — this time for credit card forgery.
Tyran Trotter, 22, was the focus of a recent opinion by Brooklyn federal Judge Jack Weinstein, who declared he would no longer reimprison those who violated their supervised release by toking.
Weinstein, 96, ended Trotter’s stint of supervised release on a heroin rap, saying the dealer “must attempt to lead a productive life of his own” and that the jurist wasn’t going to punish him for a “chronic” pot habit.
Trotter was arraigned Wednesday in Queens Criminal Court on the forgery rap and released — again under supervision.
Weinstein declined to comment.
