An ex-con was busted in the stabbing death of a man who he claimed never handed over the drugs he had paid for in Staten Island last week, authorities said.

Kariem Tomlin, 41, was arrested around 12:30 p.m. Sunday on Corson Avenue near Westervelt Avenue in Brighton Heights in connection to the death of 53-year-old Michael Ryner.

Ryner was discovered Wednesday night, slumped over with stab wounds to the shoulder and back in the driver’s seat of a black Dodge Caravan on Bay Street near St. Julian Place in Tompkinsville, in front of an MTA Transit Police building, authorities said.

Ryner — who lived about a mile from the scene — was rushed to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Tomlin told authorities he had paid for drugs that Ryner never forked over — leading to the dispute that turned fatal.

He was charged with murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in connection to the incident. He was separately charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, also on Sunday, police said.

He has more than 25 prior arrests on his record, authorities said.

State corrections department records indicate that he was released in 2018 from prison, where he was held on an attempted burglary conviction.
