An ex-con died days after he was blasted in the face and chest by someone who knocked on the door of his Brooklyn NYCHA apartment, cops said.

Jeroid Tindal, 47, was in his apartment on Taylor Street, part of NYCHA’s Independence Towers in South Williamsburg, around 10 p.m. March 8, when he heard a knock at the door, police said.

He answered the door and the person opened fire, cops said.

He was rushed to Woodhull Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on Sunday, six days later.

It was unclear Monday whether Tindal knew the gunman.
