Client 9 is No. 1 one in the hearts of New York City Democrats.

A new poll shows disgraced ex-Gov. Eliot Spitzer is steamrolling Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer in the race for city comptroller. The Wall Street Journal/NBC 4 New York/Marist College poll says Democrats favor Spitzer, 42 to 33 percent.

Also important for Spitzer, 67 percent of city Dems say he deserves a second chance.
