One of the highest-ranking former politicians involved in a huge New Jersey corruption sting pleaded guilty yesterday.

Former Hoboken Mayor Peter Cammarano III copped to one count of extortion conspiracy, admitting he accepted bribes from a government informant posing as a corrupt developer.

The 32-year-old was the youngest mayor in Hoboken’s history when he took office on July 1.

He held the position less than three weeks before he was arrested July 23 with 43 other defendants. The sting targeted political corruption and money laundering, and also led the feds to New York rabbis who claimed to traffic in human organs.

Cammarano resigned July 31.

Nearly 20 people have pleaded guilty in the case.
