Who’s the tough guy now?
An ex-Marine who plotted to behead a federal judge and prosecutor and keep their heads in formaldehyde to preserve as souvenirs — as part of a revenge bid involving his Ponzi-convicted buddy — broke into sobs as he begged a Brooklyn federal judge to “give me a second chance at life, that’s all I am asking” today.
The judge instead socked Djevid Mirkovic, 38, with 24 years behind bars, saying the heinous plot struck at the heart of the judicial system.
