An admittedly crooked ex-NYPD narcotics cop yesterday testified that fellow officer Adolph Osback, who is accused of framing innocent people on drug charges, once gave a “bag of marijuana to a relative” at the home of Osback’s cousin.
“Compliments of the NYPD!” Osback told the relative as he presented the illicit gift, disgraced cop Stephen Anderson told jurors in Queens Supreme Court, where Osback is on trial for perjury and other charges.
Anderson told how he, Osback and other narcotics-unit members routinely lied for each other as they framed innocent New Yorkers by planting drugs on them.
“I know what I did was wrong,” he said.
