A private investigator and former NYPD cop pleaded guilty Tuesday to paying an ex-police sergeant $9,000 to access a police database containing personal information more than a dozen times.
Joseph Dwyer, 47, appeared in Manhattan federal court to cop to conspiracy charges in a deal that could get him 10 to 16 months behind bars.
