This wasn’t the kind of bust he signed up for.

A former jiggle-joint worker who got swept up during a 2008 police raid at the notorious Hot Lap Dance Club is suing the city over his arrest.

Gaby Day, 37, wants unspecified damages for his 26 hours in custody, after which the charges against him were dropped.

Day’s Manhattan federal court suit alleges that cops “employed a ‘shoot ’em all, and let God sort ’em out’ arrest psychology” when they converged on the since-shuttered Midtown flesh palace.

The unemployed Brooklyn resident said his duties there included serving as an “observer” who alerted security to drunk patrons and “inappropriate” conduct.

Club owner and Louis “Big Daddy Lou” Posner pleaded guilty last year to letting his dancers — whom he bedded in exchange for work — sell sex in the VIP rooms.

Posner was put on probation and barred from owning — or even entering — a strip club. He also lost his law license.

A spokeswoman for the city Law Department declined comment.
