Ex-worker pans pizzeria
They’ve been tossing around insults along with the dough at John’s Pizzeria in Times Square, according to one former worker.
Ex-bartender Catharine Stevens is suing the Italian-style restaurant over claims she was served heaping helpings of cheesy cracks about her age — then canned for complaining about the abuse.
She says she was called an “old hooker” by bar manager Nanci Gentilesca, who allegedly dished out the zinger in front of a hostess.
John’s lawyer, Carolyn Richmond, denied Stevens’ allegations and said she was properly fired for “disciplinary reasons.”
