A retired Yankee outfielder traded his pinstripes for jail stripes yesterday — after Long Island cops busted him for the alleged sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl, law-enforcement sources said.

Rosendo “Rusty” Torres, 63, allegedly victimized a girl he was coaching Monday and on April 30, sources said.

Torres, who played for the Yankees in 1971-72, was arrested at his Massapequa home and is expected to be arraigned today.
