Get ready to pay more for that Big Mac.

A survey of 500 fast-food restaurant owners in the from the New York City metro region found that 72 percent were “very likely” to raise food prices if New York boosts the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

Another 18 percent said they are “somewhat likely” to increase prices, according to the poll conducted by the Washington, DC -based Employment Policies Institute, a pro-restaurant group.

Meanwhile 78 percent of fast-food restaurateurs said they would cut workers’ hours or staffing levels to account for the wage hike and nearly half said they may have to close their doors.

The statewide minimum wage is now $8.75. It is scheduled to go up to $9 on Dec. 31.
