Extra 9/11 security
Extra security precautions are planned for the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, federal officials said yesterday.
“The traveling public may notice an increased security presence at transportation hubs leading up to 9/11,” said a TSA spokeswoman.
“Heightened vigilance” is planned for subways, buses and commuter trains during the anniversary period, MTA officials also warned.
