A family camping trip turned deadly in New Jersey when a tree branch fell on tent — and killed a 3-year-old Bronx girl, police said Monday.

The freak accident unfolded at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Campground at Tall Pines in Elmer at 2 p.m Saturday, when the branch hit little Ellys Martinez, who was inside the tent with another child, according to NJPD officials.

The parents’ whereabouts at the time were unknown, police said.

The tot was rushed to Inspira Medical Center Elmer, where she was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported, police said.

Powerful wind storms passed through the state on Saturday, but it wasn’t immediately clear if weather played a role in the accident.
