A conservative scholar behind a documentary that condemns President Obama is under investigation by the Manhattan evangelical college he leads over a report that he took a woman who is not his wife to an event on Christian values.

The King’s College board announced the review yesterday after the Christian news magazine WORLD reported that event organizers had confronted Dinesh D’Souza — author of “Obama’s America” — about sharing a hotel room with the woman, whom he introduced as his fiancée.

D’Souza filed for divorce from his wife after the event in South Carolina last month.

He said they’d been “in a state of separation for two years,” and denied sharing a room with the other woman.

“I wouldn’t have introduced her as my fiancée if I thought we were doing anything improper,” he said, adding they have called off their engagement.
