A grieving brother of the dead New Hampshire pilot whose single-engine airplane plummeted into the waves off Breezy Point, Queens, Wednesday night described him as an “exceptional pilot.”
James Bradford McGee, 57, was a retired Navy commander, successful entrepreneur and Harvard grad who got his pilot’s license three years ago along with his brand-new sport Flight Design Model CTLS aircraft, his brother Phil McGee, told The Post.
“He had unlimited intellectual bandwidth, lived his life with integrity and dignity,” Phil said.
The plane fell into the Atlantic Ocean at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, en route to Rye, NH, from James’ consulting project in Philadelphia. No cause has been determined.
