A fashion designer to the stars was locked out of her Manhattan studio this month — by her own employee.
Jackie Rogers, who modeled for Coco Chanel in the 1960s and later reinvented herself as a designer who worked with Jackie Kennedy, claims in her Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit that the lockout brought her business to a “screeching halt.”
Rasheem Riley, president of Jackie Rogers International, said he changed the locks amid a dispute with the designer. He claims he owns the company, which Rogers denies.
