To say fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has a lot of baggage is an understatement.
The legendary, 76-year-old Chanel honcho apparently never met a piece of luggage he didn’t like.
Lagerfeld appeared to have at least 14 large suitcases on two hotel luggage racks, as he checked out of a Lower East Side hotel last week.
The fashion king’s treasure trove of luggage is particularly puzzling, given that Lagerfeld wears practically the same outfit every day.
The silver-haired fashion legend is rarely seen in public in anything but a white shirt, black tie, blazer, jeans or trousers and dark sunglasses.
But that uniform apparently didn’t help Lagerfeld pack lightly for this Big Apple visit.
It took a long black van to hold all of his bags.
Lagerfeld was reportedly in town for a Chanel shoot with models Abbey Lee and Freja Beha-Erichson.
