Two fashionistas allegedly lifted thousands in clothes from Bloomingdale’s by walking out of the store wearing four pairs of pants apiece — but the lawyer of one claimed in court Wednesday her client was just cold.

“Shuchanna Barrett may have walked into Bloomingdale’s wearing a Nike jacket and Rag and Bones pants,” attorney Eugene Nathanson suggested to jurors in Manhattan Supreme Court. “Miss Barrett was anemic and wearing the clothes for warmth.”

Assistant District Attorney Aaron Ginandes said Barrett and Davis Clarke, both 25, not only stole $3,200 in Rag and Bones jeans and other goods, but attacked security when they were caught, even biting a guard’s ear.

Then, in the store’s holding cell, Barrett tried to eat the sales tags on the pants she was wearing to destroy the evidence, Ginandes said.

Clarke’s lawyer, Joanne Dwyer, told jurors that the prosecutor’s case is riddled with inconsistencies.
