A Queens man was shot to death and his body dumped in the street two blocks from his home Wednesday, police said.

A passerby spotted the corpse of 19-year-old Jay Patel at 268th Street and 83rd Avenue in Glen Oaks at about 1 p.m. and called 911, authorities said.

Patel had been shot once in the stomach, said police.

The body was taken to Long Island Jewish Hospital, authorities said.

At least two suspects believed to have dumped the body were seen fleeing the scene in a red Toyota Camry, police and witnesses said. No arrests had been made by early Thursday.

Patel had several sealed arrests for minor drug offenses, a police source said, but a motive in the slaying was not immediately known.
