The FBI’s New York office will reopen the case of a Connecticut man who vanished on July 5, 2005, while honeymooning on a Mediterranean cruise, his family’s lawyer said yesterday.
Evidence linking passengers to George Smith’s disappearance, including next-day video of their joking about his death, will be reinvestigated, a spokesperson said.
Smith, 26, of Greenwich, and bride Jennifer Hagel-Smith were on a Royal Caribbean ship.
