His pad is in limb-o.

The Long Island firefighter battling town regulators to keep his kids’ treehouse reached a temporary agreement with local officials Monday — but it means dragging out the court battle for at least another two weeks.

“I’m taking this as a direct attack on my family. I still can’t believe [the fight] is continuing,” John Lepper, 45, of Babylon Village, LI, griped outside the Central Islip federal courthouse. “I really thought I would get to speak today.”

Instead, Judge Joseph Bianco asked Lepper and the town to reach a short-term, behind-closed-doors deal.

Lepper agreed to have the 86-square-foot treehouse inspected by a licensed architect and surveyor within two weeks, at which point the village will decide if the project will be approved.

In the meantime, officials agreed not to fine him for the structure for two weeks.
