An FDNY paramedic allegedly molested a patient in the back of an ambulance while on the way to a Bronx hospital, cops said.

Karel Delgado, 36, was arrested Monday on sexual assault charges for allegedly abusing the 43-year-old patient, according to police.

The woman had called 911 at noon Sunday because she felt ill.

Once inside the ambulance, Delgado asked if he could examine the patient before fondling her and exposing himself, cops said.

Once she arrived at the hospital, the patient reported the incident.

The paramedic was charged with a criminal sex act, sex abuse and forcible touching.

He was being held at the Bronx Special Victims Unit Monday afternoon.
