Officials say a defaced image of President Barack Obama has been removed from a Bronx firehouse storage locker — and now they’re trying to find out how it got there.

First, someone put the president’s stenciled image on the locker, with the word “believe.” Then “hustler” was added on top of it, in big red letters. Below that, someone scrawled “Allah Akbar,” meaning “God is great,” in black ink.

A police sketch of the Unabomber was on the other side of the locker.

Department rules bar the display of vulgar or offensive material in the firehouse.

FDNY spokesman Jim Long said Tuesday the matter is under investigation.
