It’s the Finest vs. the Bravest at this year’s Millrose Games at Madison Square Garden.
The famed, annual track and field competition, which will be held Jan. 28, is in its 104th year, and to help mark the milestone, organizers have created a new event pitting the city’s cops against its firemen in the name of charity.
The NYPD will compete against the FDNY with a relay race of four runners each doing one lap around the track for the title of New York’s Fastest.
This week, the two departments will have tryouts at the 168th St Armory.
The Millrose Games are the second oldest event in the Garden after the Westminister Dog Show, and many Olympians have used this event as a tuneup for their Gold Medal dreams.
