A masked gunman trying to rob an armored truck was foiled by a security guard who had just finished breakfast, cops said.

The guard left the Late Night Deli, on Metropolitan Avenue near Oliver Street, at 6:30 a.m. and was climbing into the truck when the gunman approached. They fought, and the crook fired a shot, snatched the guard’s gun, and fled.
