A veteran city detective was busted yesterday on charges of using his police gun and gear to brazenly rip off a pair of cigarette bootleggers in The Bronx.

Kyron Collins allegedly wore an NYPD “raid” jacket and flashed a badge while executing a fake search warrant on July 26.

Court papers say he and two accomplices made off with a load of illegal smokes and about $7,000 in cash after Collins, 39, ransacked the residence.

The allegations left his retired-cop dad, Kermit Collins, shaking his head in disbelief after his son was hauled into Manhattan federal court.

According to a complaint signed by Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Exlosives Agent Charles Mulham, the incident was the latest in a string of hold-ups involving contraband cigarettes and is under investigation by the ATF and the NYPD.

Collins declined comment.
