WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J.— Authorities say about all they know is a decomposed body found along the Garden State Parkway is a female.

The remains were discovered near the southbound lanes in Wall Township on Saturday.

First assistant Monmouth County prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni told the Asbury Park Press officials are awaiting toxicology and medical examiner’s reports to perhaps provide more information.

Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police or the prosecutor’s office.
