The plane that splash-landed in the Hudson River in 2009, making a national hero of pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, is getting a final once-over in New Jersey before it makes its last journey.
The US Airways jet has spent more than two years in a Harrison warehouse. This week, it was moved outside to prepare for transfer to an aviation museum in Charlotte, NC, where it will be put on permanent display.
